 Typhoon Haiyan, also known as Typhoon Yolanda, was one of the strongest tropical cyclones ever recorded in the world history. It killed a total number of 6,300 people in Leyte Tacloban City, lats November 28, 2013. 

 Because of many people are lost in this incident, People Finder Database was born and it is powered by Google. People finder helps the relatives to track or find the lost people across the globe. It is the effective tool of finding our lost fellowmen during typhoon Yolanda.

 With the help of this database is easy to find people close to our hearts during calamities in our country. Instrumental to use it in mass method.
 Aside from the social media, Google offered a help to the Filipino people by allowing them to use their web application called Google Person Finder.Aside from the Philippines, Google also deployed their project to countries such as Haiti, Chile, Pakistan, USA, Japan, New Zealand, Thailand and Nepal.
